Ira Thomas Bray, 59, of Reelsboro, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at 
CarolinaEast Medical Center. 
He was born at Cherry Point and worked as a carpenter around the Craven 
and Pamlico area.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the 
Goose Creek Pentecos-tal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Cindy Midyette 
officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Donna M. Bray of Reelsboro; one daughter, 
Heather Avery of More-head City; one son, Chris Bray of Reelsboro; five 
grandchildren; two brothers, William Bray of Cash Corner and Danny Bray of 
Reelsboro; and one sister, Edith Panichelli of Vanceboro. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HOPE Clinic, P.O. Box 728, 
Bayboro, NC 28515.
