BALTIMORE - James O. "Big Baby" Miller, 69, died Sunday, July 20, 2008.  
He was a native of Pamlico County, N.C., and moved to Baltimore after he 
graduated from high school. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Company until he 
retired in 1989.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday 
at Antioch United Church of Christ, Maribel, N.C., with the Rev James 
Heath officiating.  Interment will be in Hudnell Cemetery.  
He is survived by his wife, Bernice M. Miller of the home; two daughters, 
Bonnie Brown of Grifton, N.C., and Bernita Branch of Baltimore; two 
grandchildren; his step-mother, Naomi Miller of Maribel.; one brother, 
Bryant Miller of Maribel.; eight sisters, Elizabeth Gibbs and Thelma Dixon 
of Maribel, Lucille Tripp of Grantsboro, N.C., Grace Jones of Bayboro, 
N.C., Dorothy Dowdy of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Emma Lee and Joyce Johnson 
of Portsmouth, Va., and Shirlene Dalrymple of Richmond, Va.; and step-
sisters, Dorothy Blythe and Cassie Wiggins of Philadelphia, Pa.
