Obituary of Jane Schofell Lee ~ 2010

GRANTSBORO - Jane S. Lee, 68, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Pitt Co. 
Memorial Hospital in Greenville. 
She was a registered nurse and worked with Pamlico Co. Senior Services. 
While there she ran the Senior Companion Program, and facilitated 
Alzheimer and Dementia support groups. She also taught knitting and 
crocheting and enjoyed them as a hobby as well as gardening and camping. 
She was a member of Reelsboro United Methodist Church where she was active 
in youth ministries. She is survived by her husband of twelve years, 
Steve Lee of Grantsboro; one son, Christopher Gagnon Sr. "Crash" and wife, 
Carla, of Grantsboro; one grandson, Christopher Gagnon Jr.; two 
stepdaughters, Jennifer Lee and Julianne Lee of Bayboro; three brothers, 
Stanley Schofell and wife, P. J., of Merritt, Jeff Schofell and wife, 
Pattie, of Texas and Hubert Schofell and wife, Nancy, of Florida; one 
sister, Mary Simmons and husband, Butch, of Nolanville, TX; and several 
nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at 
Reelsboro United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Pollock 
officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the 
memorial service.
