REELSBORO - Jerry Wayne Edwards, 63, went to be with the Lord Saturday, 
July 23, 2005 at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in New Bern.  
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Jerry has been 
employed by B/S/H since 1979.  
He is survived by his wife, Patty "Sue" Edwards; two sons, Ken Edwards of 
Atlanta, GA and Michael Edwards and wife, Sharon, of New Bern, and their 
children, Lauren and Michael; four daughters, Kimberly Carter and special 
friend, Chris, and children, Lee, Marissa and Jeffrey of Kinston, Teresa 
Caelen and children, Ryan and Samantha of Arapahoe, Mary Curtis and 
husband, David, and daughter, Katlyn, of Reelsboro and Cathy McLawhorn 
and husband, Dickie, of Vanceboro; one brother, Larry Edwards and wife, 
Sue, of Clarksville, GA; two sisters, Jeanette Holton of Alliance and 
Brenda Townley of Reelsboro; sister-in-law, Joy Sanderlin of New Bern; 
and brother-in-law, Charles Sanderlin of Reelsboro.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blanford and Essie Edwards.  
The family received friends at Calvary Baptist Church on Rhem Avenue on 
Monday evening, July 25 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and other times at the 
home in Reelsboro. A funeral service has been scheduled for Tuesday, 
July 26 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Wingard, 
Pastor Dwight Williams and Pastor Steve Cuthrell officiating with burial 
in New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
