Obituary of Jesse Richard "Dickie" Walker ~ 2010

EDWARD - Jesse Richard "Dickie" Walker died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at 
his residence. 
He was a shrimp boat captain for more than 20 years.  
He is survived by his wife, Sue Walker of Edward; one son, Richard Brian 
Walker of Camp Jo Jane; four daughters, Gerri Lynn Ping of Edward, Tammy 
Walker of Blount's Creek, Mary Candice Bond of Edward and Amy Abbott of 
Covington, Ga.; three sisters, Katie Stilly of Edward, Nellie Barber of 
Edward, and Brenda Turnage of Pamlico County; 18 grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.  
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Edward Christian Church 
in Edward with the Rev. David Linton officiating.  
Arrangements are by Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory.
