On Friday, June 1, 1979, John Quintus Beckwith, of Oriental, N.C., beloved 
husband of Margaret Dudley Cantwell Beckwith; father of Rev. John Quintus 
Beckwith III, of Darlington, S.C., Mrs. George R. Feldman, Fayetteville, 
N.C., Miss Ann Dunbar of Clinton, S.C.; brother of Rev. James. O. Beckwith,
Raleigh, N.C.; sister of Miss Evelina Gilbert Beckwith, Lumberton, N.C. 
Also survived by five grandchildren. Services will be held at the Virginia 
Theological Chapel, north of Alexandria, Va., on Monday, June 4, at 2 p.m. 
Interment Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria, Va. 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: St. Thomas Episcopal Church 
in Oriental, N.C.
