Obituary of John Wesley Cahoon ~ 2011

ARAPAHOE - John Wesley Cahoon, 81, died Friday, June 3, 2011, at CarolinaEast 
Medical Center.  
He was retired from Civil Service, he was a veteran of the Korean War, a 
member of the Pamlico County VFW and a member of Bethany Christian Church. 
He is survived by his wife, Becky Cahoon of the home; one son, Johnny 
Cahoon of Arapahoe; one daughter, Carol Bey of Arapahoe; one brother, 
Garland Cahoon of Arapahoe; one sister, Pat Avery of New Bern; six 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Bethany Christian 
Church with the Rev. Merritt Watson officiating.  
Interment will follow at Paul Cemetery in Arapahoe with VFW Military Rites.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  
Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Cremations, Alliance.
