Obituary of John Luther Dixon Jr ~ 2003

ORIENTAL - John Luther Dixon, Jr., 85, of Oriental died Wednesday, June 4 
at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
A graveside service was held Friday, June 6, 11 am, at Lakeside Chapel at 
Greenleaf Memorial Park with the Rev. William Sherman and the Rev. Danny 
Allen officiating. He was a purchasing agent for Maola Milk and Ice Cream 
for 38 years and was an active member of Centenary UMC where he was a 
member of the Pilmoor Sunday School class.  
He is survived by his widow, Peggy Carter Dixon of the home; two sons, 
David Dixon and Kenneth Dixon, both of Oriental; and one sister, Edna D. 
Williams of Kinston.
