BAYBORO – John C. Dunn, 76, died Sunday, February 8 at Craven Regional 
Medical Center. 
He was a charter member of the Pamlico County Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn.
He is survived by four daughters, Vicki Carlisle of Oriental, Susan Dunn 
Whitman of Carrollton, GA, Marilyn Kyde Dietz of DeCatur, GA and April 
Mireles of Houston, TX; two sisters, Mary Bennett of Stonewall and Bonnie 
May of Nashville, NC; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 
his beloved friend, Rosa White of Merritt.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 11 at 2:00 pm at 
Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Baldwin officiating and 
rites by the Pamlico County Moose Lodge. A private burial will be in 
Sandhill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Bryant Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 
2:00 pm on Wednesday just prior to the service and other times at the home 
of Maxine Banks, 68 Spain Farm Road in Stonewall.
