Obituary of John Joseph Vuolo ~ 2011

ORIENTAL - John Joseph Vuolo, 82, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011, 
at home. 
He retired from the U.S. Navy and Thomson Industry. He was a member of St. 
Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, the Pamlico County Republican Party 
the Harley Davidson, H.O.G. of New Bern and the American Legion.  
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Constance "Connie" M. Vuolo; two 
sons, John F. Vuolo and wife, Elizabeth, of Hinton, West Virginia and 
Gabriel P. Vuolo and wife, Bonnie, of Newland, NC; two daughters, Christine
P. Fecteau and husband, Albert "Bud" of Portsmouth, Rhode Island and Lisa 
Anne Cheesman and husband, Raymond, of Edwards, Colorado; grandchildren, 
Brian Vuolo, Lindsay Vuolo, Christopher Vuolo, Emily and Michael Leialoha, 
Gregory and Elizabeth Fecteau, Eamon Fecteau, Jonathan Fecteau, Stephen, 
Thomas and Christina Cheesman; and two great-grandchildren, Abby Lynn Vuolo
and Aidon P. Vuolo.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 10, at St. 
Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Father Paul Mizner officiating. 
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral 
Home with the rosary beginning at 4 p.m.
