Obituary of Joseph Derek Ballance ~ 2008

Joseph Derek Ballance, 22, of Stonewall died, Sunday, June 15, 2008.  
He was an avid hunter, a gunsmith and enjoyed working on cars.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ballance Jr., and paternal 
grandfather, Vernell Ballance Sr.  
He is survived by his mother, Lois Ballance, and her fiancée Ralph Lee;
maternal grandparents, Tommy and Nancy Allen of Bayboro; paternal 
grandmother, Doris Jean Ballance Ireland of Lowland; brother, Daryl 
Ballance of the home; uncles, Billy Allen of New Port Richey, Fla., Greg 
Ballance of Lowland, Kenny Ballance of Campbell Creek, Aurora; and aunt, 
Lynn Ballance of Lowland.  
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Bryant 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. officiating. Interment 
to follow immediately in Ballance Cemetery. The family will receive friends
at Bryant Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
