ORIENTAL - Joseph Louis Giacchino, 87, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 
Craven Regional Medical Center.  
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Long Island National 
Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y., with military honors.  
He is survived by one son, Ben Giacchino of Oriental; three daughters, 
Frances Rose-meyer of Alpharetta, Ga., and Maryann Giacchino and Linda 
Palma, both of Clearwater, Fla.; one brother, Thomas Giacchino of New York;
one sister, Mary Mazzullo of Fla.; nine grandchildren; and four 
great-grandchildren.
