Services for Joseph Sparrow of Orange will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in 
the Woody "Home for Services," 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange.  
Mr. Sparrow died Thursday in the Hospital Center at Orange.  
He was employed at the Royal Inn, East Orange, for four years before 
retiring in 1991. Previously, he had been a stocker for the Popular Club, 
Passaic, for 10 years, and, earlier, was a driver for William Carey 
Sanitation, Passaic, for 10 years.  
Born in Vandemere, N.C., he lived in Orange and Passaic before returning 
to Orange in 1985.  
Surviving are four daughters, Loretta, Lena, Mrs. Josephine Starr and Mrs. 
Audrey Oliver; two sons, William and Ralph; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae 
Roberts, Mrs. Mavis Waiters, Mrs. Helen Davis and Mrs. Margie Conklin; two 
brothers, James and John; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
