WHORTONSVILLE - Jo Silverthorne, 73, died Wednesday, April 6 at her home. 
She was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. A funeral service was 
held Saturday, April 9 at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Owen Peele and Dr. Burkett Raper officiating. Burial was in the Church 
Cemetery.  She was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.  
She is survived by one son, Andy Silverthorne of Fuquay-Varina; two 
daughters, Rhonda Scott of Whortonsville and Jo Helen Johnson of Seven 
Springs; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
