Obituary of Katie Sawyer Lewis ~ 2006

Katie Sawyer Lewis, 77, of Lowland, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, at 
Britthaven of Pamlico.  
She was a member of Wardens Grove F.W.B. Church in Lowland and was a former
member of Pamlico County Moose Lodge.  
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wardens Grove F.W.B. Church with the Rev. 
Phillip Lewis officiating.  Burial will be in Lowland Community Cemetery.  
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Lewis; one son, Dallas Lewis of 
Reelsboro; two daughters, Linda Caroon of Oriental and Diana Lewis of 
Bayboro; one brother, Talmadge Sawyer of Norfolk, Va.; one sister, Arlene 
Kirk of Belhaven; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Bryant Funeral 
Home & Cremations, Alliance.
