Leslie Paul Jones, 63, of Grantsboro, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at Duke 
University Medical Center. 
Paul loved and was loved dearly by his grandchildren and his great-grandson.  
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Mae Jones, and his father, 
Leslie Earl Jones.  He is survived by his wife, Mitzi Jones; three 
daughters, Pam Tyson and husband, Bill, Ann Jones and Susie Eastwood; two 
sons, Leslie Paul Jones Jr. and wife, Amber, and Robert Jones; two 
stepdaughters, Eva Shallis and husband, Mark, and Tracey Williams and 
husband, Jack; two stepsons, Dean Young and wife, Kathy, and Trevor 
Kiugel and wife, Jennifer; one sister, Betty Bailey and husband, Franklin; 
one brother, Tommy Jones and wife, Terry; ten grandchildren, Cody Tyson, 
Elizabeth Carawan, Trevor Carawan, Robert Eastwood, Amy Morris and 
husband, Stephen, Michael Eastwood, Craig Eastwood, Danielle Jones, 
Kaitlyn Jones and Ashleigh Deditch; and one great-grandchild, Talon Paul 
Morris.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the 
home, 1245 S. Goose Creek Rd, Grantsboro.
