Lillie Cooper Green, 82, of 820 Clark Ave. died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at 
Two Rivers Health Care-Neuse Campus. 
She was a native of the Florence community of Pamlico and relocated to New 
Bern. She served on the Mother's Board and the Senior Choir and was a 
Sunday School teacher at West Street Christian Church. 
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at West Street 
Christian Church with the Rev. R.E. Midgette Sr. officiating. Burial will 
be in Evergreen Cemetery. 
She is survived by three sons, George M. Gaskins Jr. Brentwood, Calif., 
William K. Green Jr. of Norwood and Kevin D. Green of New Bern; three 
daughters, Brenda J. Anderson of Baltimore, Md., Emma Jones of New Bern 
and Karen Courman of New Bern; 13 grandchildren; and eight great 
grandchildren. 
The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be at from 
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 21 at Oscar's Mortuary and at the 
church an hour prior to the service.
