ARAPAHOE - Lisa Paulette Collins Smith, 51, of 315 Martin Road, Arapahoe, 
died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.  
She was a graduate of the Pamlico County High School and was employed as a 
seafood processor with Sheryl's Seafood. She was a lifetime member of Mt. 
Zion M. B. Church and served as a choir member.  
Her funeral will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at Mt. Zion 
M.B. Church, 97 Martin Road, with the Rev. Armandez Crawford officiating. 
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  
She is survived by her husband, Lenwood Ray Smith of Oriental; son, Jeremy 
Smith of the home; mother, Mary Elizabeth Thomas and father, Ben Thomas, 
both of Arapahoe; and one sister, Stephanie Thomas of Chapel Hill, N.C.  
The family will receive friends at the residence of Edna Collins, 319 
Martin Road. Viewing will be at Oscar's Mortuary on Tuesday from 9 a.m. 
to 5 p.m. and at the church an hour prior to the service.
