Love Augusta Johnson, 83, of Woodbine, died Saturday, August 22, 1998 in 
the Burdette Tomlin Hospital, Cape May Court House.  
Born in Oriental, N.C., she was an area resident for over 50 years. She 
was a member of the First Baptist Church Woodbine, where she was an usher, 
and past president of the Pastor Aide.  
She is survived by a step-son Clarence Johnson, a god daughter Doreen 
Goff, two step daughters Helen Wright and Gloria Johnson, a brother Lacy 
Cannon, four sisters Ella Mae Johnson, Esther Dixon, Elizabeth Jenkins 
and Jean Richardson, son-in-law Oscar West, an Aunt Charlotte Moore, a 
grandson Steven Boyd. Predeceased by husband Clarence Johnson.  
Services will be held Wednesday at 1pm in the 1st Baptist Church, 
Woodbine. Friends may call at the church after 12 noon. Interment and 
other services will be held Friday in Oriental, NC.
