Lucy Ireland Harrington, 96, of the 600 block of Burleigh Ave., died April 
11, 1990, in a hospital.  
Mrs. Harrington, a native of Pamlico County, N.C., was the widow of James 
Harrington.  
Survivors include a daughter, Ella Mae Whitehurst of Norfolk, two 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Barnett Cemetery, 
Hobucken, N.C. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in 
Norris Funeral Home, Alliance, N.C.
