AURORA - Lula Rachel Cayton Ensley, 94, died July 9, 2007, at her home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cuthrell Cemetery,
Small Community, Aurora, with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of White Hill
F.W.B. Church af-ter the graveside service and other times at the home
of her daughter, Elizabeth Bennett.

Mrs. Lula Rachel Cayton Ensley, age 94, of the Small Community of Aurora
died Monday July 9, 2007 at her home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the
Cuthrell Cemetery in the Small Community of Aurora and will be conducted
by Pastor Wesley Taylor. Mrs. Lula was born in Beaufort Co. on September
3, 1912 to the late Yancey Marion and Elvra Gaskins Cayton.
On September 11, 1936 she married the late Bryan D. Ensley who preceded
her in death on November 2, 1958. Mrs. Lula was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Bennett of Aurora, one step-son,
Dewey Ensley of Martinsville, VA; one step-daughter, Lucille Hall of
Grantsboro; one brother, George Cayton of Wilmington, one grand child;
fourteen step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; twenty seven step
great grandchildren and twenty seven step great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one step son George Ensley; one step
daughter, Laverne Cayton; two sisters, Lala Price and Bertha Cayton and
one brother, Cleatus Cayton.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at The
White Hill FWB Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home of
Elizabeth Bennett.
Paul Funeral Home of Washington is serving the Ensley family.
