Madoline Lupton Bennett, 83, of 18985 N.C. Highway 55, Merritt, died Sunday, 
April 13, 2008, at home.  
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, at Bryant 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Blaney Rowe officiating.  
She is survived by one son, Edward Earl "Bud" Bennett of Washington, N.C.; 
three daughters, Lena Rice and Elsie Flowers, both of Lowland, and Janet 
Foster of Belhaven; two sisters, Mildred Carawan and Marlene Baker, both 
of Lowland; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bryant 
Funeral Home.
