ARAPAHOE - Malcolm Jackson Brinson, 60, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, at UNC 
Hospital in Chapel Hill.
He was retired from PCS Phosphate, a member of the WOW, and had served in 
the Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona Gray Brinson of the home; two daughters,
Lori B. Simpson of New Bern and Lindsey Renee Brinson of the home; one 
brother, Wayne Brinson of New Bern; three sisters, Linda C. Ballard of 
Paradise Shores, Elizabeth "Libby" McDonald of Grantsboro and Brenda Joyce 
Hill of Bayboro; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. 
Interment will follow in Harper Cemetery, Grantsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Bryant Funeral 
Home.
