MANCHESTER, Conn. - Marjorie (Green) Barlow Hall, formerly of Oriental, 
died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Hartford Hospital.
She was a graduate of Shaw University in Raleigh, a member of the Delta 
Sigma Theta Sorority, a faithful member of the Asylum Hill Congregational 
Church in Hartford and held a Master Gar-dener certificate from the 
University of Connecticut. She retired from the University of Connecticut's
School of Social Work and Bursar's office. 
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Asylum Hill 
Congregational Church, 814 Asylum Ave., Hartford. 
She is survived by her husband, A. Christopher Hall; son, Cinque Barlow; 
and daughter, Mar-ghru Elaine Barlow; two grandchildren; one stepdaughter; 
one step-grandchild; two brothers, Carl Green of Maryland and William 
Green of North Carolina; and two sisters, Queenie Green White and Ella 
Green Linyear, both of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Cancer Center, 85 Retreat Ave., Hartford, CT 06106-2555 or the Charter 
School for Young Children on Asylum Hill, 1265 Asylum Ave., Hartford, CT
