GRANTSBORO - Mary Frances Jarvis Thomas, 55, of 1487 N.C. 306 North, died 
Monday, July 23, 2007, at her residence.
She was a 1970 graduate of Pamlico County High School and was a member of 
St. Peter M.B. Church.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Peter M.B. Church with the Rev.
F.L. Hyman officiating.
Burial will be in Hudnell Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Thomas of the home; two sons, Omar 
Jarvis of Birmingham, Ala., and Ansel Jarvis of New Bern; two stepsons, 
Jomar Thomas of Oriental and Tony Midgette of Raleigh; one stepdaughter, 
Doris Rich of Atlanta, Ga.; step-mother, Mary Tutt Jarvis of Bayboro; 
three brothers, Edward T. Jarvis of Maribel, George Jarvis of Virginia 
Beach, Va., and Alan Jarvis of San Diego; two sisters, Sheila Murray of 
Bayboro and Barbara James of Boiling, Texas; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, 
and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
