HOBUCKEN - Massie S. Swindell, 92, of Hobucken died Saturday at 
CarolinaEast Medical Center.  
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett Cemetery in 
Hobucken with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating.  
She is survived by a son, Samuel Swindell of Newport; two daughters, Linda 
Bray of New Bern and Alma Ferrell of Aurora; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-
grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the 
cemetery.
