BAYBORO - Mattie O. Jones, 78, of 8275 Highway 304, Bayboro. Died Thursday,
June 5 at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
A funeral service was held Sunday, June 8, 2 pm, at Mt. Olive Missionary 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Fisher officiating. Burial was in the 
Mesic Cemetery.  
She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and was retired 
from MCAS Cherry Point. She was a member of the Veterans Wives Association.
She is survived by four brothers, James Richard Ollison, Alphonso Ollison 
and Napoleon Ollison, all of Mesic, and Herbert Ollison of New Bern; three 
sisters, Sadie McGlone of Reelsboro, Annie Fulcher of Oriental and Viola 
Hudson of Arapahoe.
