SELMA - Max G. Potter, Sr., 79, formerly of Washington, NC, died Monday. 
Born February 2, 1922 in Pamlico County to the late Tilton Green and Eva 
Mae Potter, he was the widower of Reba Gray Potter who died in 1992.  
Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Parrish
Funeral Home in Selma with the Rev. Ferrell Hardison to officiate.  
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service. 
Burial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pamlico Memorial
Gardens in Washington.  
Surviving is his son, Max G. Potter, Jr. of Selma.
