Obituary of Melvin Clem Dixon ~ 2007

GOOSE CREEK - Melvin Clem Dixon, 74, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at his 
home.  He had been a commercial fisherman and served in the U.S. Navy 
during the Korean War.  
Funeral will be noon Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. 
Phillip Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Cayton Cemetery in Goose 
Creek with military honors by the Pamlico County Veterans Council.  
Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Dean Dixon and 
Michael Glen Dixon. 
He is survived by his wife, Faye B. Dixon; one daughter, Kathryn Spencer 
of Goose Creek; and one granddaughter, Michelle Spencer.  
The family will receive friends at Bryant Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. 
Tuesday.
