ORIENTAL - Michael Wesley Davis, 54, of 134 Marsh Lane, died Saturday, 
May 28. 2005 at Craven Regional Medical Center.
He was a resident of the Pamlico community and a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., 
where he received his education. He was formerly employed with Garland 
Fulcher Seafood.  Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Galilee United Church 
of Christ in the Pamlico community with the Rev. James Ingram officiating.
Burial will be in Hall Family Cemetery in the Pamlico community.
He is survived by his mother, Edith J. Midgette, of the home; one daughter,
Vashon Alston of Florence, S.C.; four brothers, Lee Andrew Midgette of 
Brooklyn, N.Y., Anthony Midgette of Atlanta, Ga., Adell Midgette of 
Brooklyn, N.Y. and Lionell Midgette of South Carolina; and three 
grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Oscar's Mortuary and 
one hour prior to the service at the church.
