Obituary of Noah Lewis Dixon ~ 2006

RALEIGH - Noah Lewis Dixon, 80, of 6408 Malibu Drive, a retired electrical 
engineer with CP & L and a 1950 graduate of North Carolina State University, 
died Friday at Wake Med while surrounded by his loving family. 
A native of Pamlico County, he was the son of the late Waldon and Bessie 
Rice Dixon.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Garner 
Advent Christian Church. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. at Greenlawn
Memorial Gardens in Wilmington.  
Surviving: his wife of 57 years, Sybil Lane Dixon; daughter, Linda D. 
Brown and her husband, James of Wilmington; son, James "Jimmy" Dixon of 
Durham; and a sister, Carol Daniels and her husband, Vernon Daniels of 
Merritt, NC.  The family will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, 
6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday.
