ORIENTAL - Nora Lucille Fulcher Armstrong, 80, died Tuesday, June 17 at 
her home. 
A graveside service was held Wednesday, July 18, 11 am, in the Oriental 
Cemetery with the Rev. Murray Etheridge and the Rev. Lee Toler officiating.
She was a member of Oriental First Baptist Church.  
She is survived by one son, Evan Pierce, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; one 
daughter, Brenda Swindell of Stonewall; her mother, Nora R. Fulcher of 
Britthaven of Pamlico; two sisters, Sabra Elizabeth Willis of New Bern and 
Lena Marie Broughton of Oriental; four grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren.
