BAYBORO - Olaf Vernon Rose, 85, of Bayboro died Saturday at Craven Regional
Medical Center. 
A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, 11 am, at Bryant Funeral Home 
Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Dixon and Garland Holliday officiating with 
burial in Lowland Community Cemetery.  
He is survived by his widow, Dorothy Rose; son, O.V. Rose, Jr. of Wendell; 
daughter, Wanda Brothers Atkinson of New Bern; sister, Ellen Holbrook of 
Camden, Ohio; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-
great-grandchildren.
