LOWLAND - Opal Anetta Johnson Potter, 91, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at
CarolinaEast Medical Center.
She was a member of Wardens Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Johnnie Wayne Potter and wife, Wendy, of
Reelsboro; two daughters, Jackie Potter and husband Jeff, and Theresa
Potter Hopkins and husband Tommy, all of Lowland; one stepdaughter, Dean
Howerin and husband, O.B., of Grantsboro; one brother, Carl Wayne Johnson
of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, Kristin Hopkins, Brandon Hopkins,
Kimberly Hopkins, Vicki Lewis, Jon Potter, Carolyne Potter, Sarah Weinhold
and Rebecca Robison; and five great-grandchildren, Dustin Murray, Kierstin
Murray, Caleb Hopkins, Tyler Hopkins and William Weinhold.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, at Lowland
Community Cemetery with the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. and the Rev. Saundra
Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Bryant
Funeral Home.
