Obituary of Pardee "Bud" Midgette III ~ 2009

Pardee "Bud" Midgette III, 64, of Englewood, N.J., formerly of Vandemere,
died on May 27, 2009, at the Englewood Hospital.
He attended Pamlico Central School, was employed with Englewood Hospital
for more than 20 years and was a member of Kings of Kings Holiness Church
in New Jersey.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the
St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, Vandemere, with the Rev. F.L. Hyman
and the Rev. Tony Credle officiating. Burial will follow the service in
the Mesic Community Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gloria Rodgers Midgette of the
home; one son, Kemp Midgette Sr. of Englewood, N.J.; three grandchildren;
his father, the Rev. Pardee Midgette Jr. of Vandemere; six brothers,
Marvin and Dallas Midgette, both of Wilmington, Alexander Midgette of New
Bern, Vic Midgette of Hackensack, N.J., Wiredell Midgette of Tampa, Fla.,
and Darryl Midgette of Vandemere; two sisters, Sarah Gray of New Bern and
Martha Killough of Cedar Grove.
Viewing will be held on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the
service.
