GRANTSBORO - Pauline H. Powers, 90, of Grantsboro, died Friday, September 
30 at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
A funeral service was held Monday, October 3, 11 am, at Silverhill 
Christian Church with the Rev. Amos Sykes officiating. Burial was in Paul 
Cemetery in Silverhill.  
She was a member of Silverhill Christian Church.  
She is survived by two sons, Robert L. Powers of New Orleans and Jimmie B. 
Powers of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Selma Rowe of Bayboro and Susan 
Allenbaugh of Jonesboro, GA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild.
