Obituary of Peter A. Mitchell ~ 2005

Peter A. Mitchell, 71, of the Merritt community, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 
2005, at his home.  
He was a member of St. Peter, The Fisherman Catholic Church. He served in 
the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and was retired director of 
sales for the Marine and Industrial Division of Chrysler Corp. He was a 
member of the Sailing Club of Oriental and the Pamlico County Law 
Enforcement Association.  
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter, The Fisherman Catholic Church,
Oriental, with Rev. Paul Mizener officiating.  
He is survived by his widow, Laura K. Mitchell; two sons, Daniel A. 
Mitchell of Virginia and Thomas J. Mitchell of South Dakota; one daughter, 
Kim Marie Clark Botha of Utah; one brother, John J. Mitchell of Merritt; 
two sisters, Connie Mitchell Schulman of New York and Mary Ann Sconzo of 
New York; and 10 grandchildren.  
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home & 
Cremations, Alliance.
