EVERGLADES CITY, Fla. - Preston Hubert Potter, 82, passed away peacefully 
with his loving family at his side on Thursday, November 3, 2011. 
He was born in Lowland on March 21, 1929. A wonderful husband and father, 
he will be dearly missed. 
Hubert is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Joy Mae Potter; sons, 
Johnnie Preston and Glenna Potter, Billy Edward and Crystal Potter, and 
Gordon and Mary Potter. He leaves seven grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at New Vision 
Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. and the Rev. Lee 
Toler officiating.
