MESIC - Raeshon Demond Wade Jr., 11, of 8216 N.C. Hwy 304, Mesic, died 
Monday, August 4, 2008.   
He was a rising fifth-grader at Fred Anderson Elementary School.   
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Piney 
Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ Church, Arapahoe, with the 
Rev. Farries Slade officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Church 
cemetery.   
He is survived by his parents, Katherine Johnson of the home and Raeshon 
D. Wade Sr. of New Bern; two brothers, Robert Johnson and Jordan Wade of 
the home; one sister, Roeshonda Lee of the home; maternal grandmother, 
Marie Johnson of Arapahoe, paternal grandparents, Frank B. Wade and 
Jeanette Wade of New Bern; and paternal great-grandmother, Mamie Wade, of 
Wilmington.   
The family will receive friends at the residence. 
Viewing will be at Oscar's Mortuary from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and at the 
church Saturday one hour prior to the service.
