TARBORO - Ralph Lee McCotter, 60, of 8453 U.S. 258 North, died Sunday, 
Jan. 29, 2012, at Pitt Memorial Hospital. 
Funeral will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Holt's Chapel A.M.E.Z.
Church in Oriental, with the Rev. L. Shannon Sabsook Sr. officiating. 
Burial will follow in St. Stephens Church Cemetery.
He was employed as a truck driver and a native of Pamlico County.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph Lee McCotter Jr. of Wilson and Embroy 
Jones of Columbia; one daughter, Katie Guion of Raleigh; three sisters, 
Alief Louise Morris of Oriental, Gladys McCarter of Brooklyn, N.Y. and 
Glenda Conway of Oriental; two step-children, Ajuah and Latoya Freeman of 
Bronx, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and 6 step-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the residence of Glenda Conway, 303 Janiero Rd., 
Oriental. Viewing hours are Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. at Oscar's 
Mortuary and at the church one hour prior to the service.
