ORIENTAL - Ramonia M. Blackmon, 57, of 1435 Broad St. Ext., died Friday, 
Jan. 15, 2010, at her residence.  
She was a member of Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church. She also 
participated in Yokefellow at the Pamlico Correctional Institute.  
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the New Bern Eastern Missionary 
Baptist Association Headquarters Building, N.C. 306 North, Grantsboro,
with the Rev. Eugene Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Perkins 
Cemetery in Oriental.  
She is survived by her mother, Edna Jones of Oriental; her husband, Jesse 
Blackmon of Port Charlotte, Fla.; daughter, Rebecca Blackmon of New Bern; 
son, Sidney Blackmon of Meriden, Conn.; three sisters, Carnell Barrow of 
Oriental, Velman Lyons of New Haven, Conn., and Gloria Sampson of New 
Haven, Conn.; three brothers, Howard Jones of Oriental, Darnell Jones of 
Alliance and Clarence Jones Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.  
Viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. tonight at Clark Memorial Chapel, 
and Friday at the church one hour prior to the service.  
Arrangements are by Clark Funeral Directors.
