Obituary of Ray Taylor Hathaway ~ 1997

HOBUCKEN - Ray Taylor Hathaway, 83, of Hobucken died Wednesday, July 9 at
Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Funeral service was held July 12 at Norris-
Bryant Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
Survivors include his son and his wife, Harvey and Shelia Hathaway of 
Palmdale, Ca and stepson and wife, Talford and Allena Marsh of Gold River, 
Ca daughter and her husband, June Hathaway and Arthur Lane of Hobucken; 5 
grandchildren and 1 step-grandson; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr Hathaway was a member of the Pamlico County Moose Lodge, the Hobucken
Development Corporation, the Hathaway Family Association. He retired from
Bethlehem Steel Co., was valedictorian of the Hobucken High School Class
of 1932 and was a track star.
