BAYBORO - Raymond Ives Potter, 82 of Bayboro, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at 
Pitt Memorial Hospital. 
He was a member of Bayboro Masonic Lodge #331; retired from U.S. Navy; a 
veteran of WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars; retired U.S. Civil Service; and 
a member of Bayboro Missionary Baptist Church.  
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Minnie Williams Potter.  
He is survived by one son, Alfie Potter of Cary; two daughters, Susan 
Potter Little and husband, William of Greenville, Gayle Potter Blalock and 
husband, Victor of Greenville; six grandchildren Michael V. Little and 
wife, Leah, Jeffery T. Little and finance, Patty Gee, Brystal A. Hoel and 
husband, Mark, Tracy Hodges and husband, Jimmy, Denise Watson and Cameron 
Potter; and four great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Little, Peyton Little, Dylan 
Little and Abigail Hoel.  
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday June 6 at Bryant Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald officiating.  
Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park with Military and Masonic Rites.  
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral 
Home.  
Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home and Cremations, Alliance.
