Reece Smith, Jr., 72, of Grantsboro died Sunday, Aug. 17, at Pitt County 
Memorial Hospital. 
He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.  
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Bridgeton Cemetery 
with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. 
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor McDowell of Grantsboro; a stepson of 
Bridgeton; and one sister, Lillie Mae Davis.  
The family will receive friends at Pollock-Best Funeral Home from 6 to 8 
p.m. Thursday.
