Obituary of Richard Byron Baker ~ 2007

ORIENTAL - Richard “Dick” Byron Baker passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 
29, 2007, at home. Born Oct. 16, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of 
Robert Baker and the late Lois H. Baker.  
He was the husband of Judith L. Baker for 43 years. He also leaves behind 
his two sons, M. Bradley Baker and wife, Sandra, and their children, Austin, 
Tyler and Madison of Cincinnati, Ohio, and William K. Baker and wife, Amy, 
and their children, Emma, Eric and Amanda of South Bend, Ind.; one daughter, 
Sarah Lee Still and husband, Todd, of Kellogg, Idaho; his sister, Mary Ann 
Cohen and husband, Buddy, and nephew, Alex, of Birmingham, Ala.; and niece,
K.C. Cohen of Columbia, S.C.; and brother-in-law, Robert Kabbes and wife, 
Diane, and nephews, Kyle, Christopher and Connor, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dick
was an elder at Pamlico Presbyterian Church and volunteered at Hope Clinic.
He enjoyed his family, fishing and gardening.  
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pamlico Presbyterian 
Church with the Rev. Paul Owens officiating.
