NEW BERN - Robert "Bob" Allen Willis, 72, formerly of Arapahoe, died 
Tuesday, May 31 at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
A funeral service was held Friday, June 3, 11 am, at Arapahoe Free Will 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Blaney Rowe and the Rev. Freeman Edwards 
officiating. Burial was in Paul Cemetery.  
He had served as Registrar and Director of Evening Programs at Coastal 
Carolina Community College in Jacksonville and was a member of Saint's 
Delight Free Will Baptist Church. He was a US Air Force veteran.  
He is survived by his wife, Jean Potter Willis; one son, David Willis of 
Jacksonville; one daughter, Kim Morton of Jacksonville; two stepsons, Tim 
Potter of New Bern and Lee Potter of Greenville; one stepdaughter, Debra 
Liehs-Powell; two brothers, Hewitt Willis of Ft. Myers, FL and Herbert 
Willis of Arapahoe; one sister, Dorothy Harrison of Arapahoe; six 
grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
