Roderick E. Paul, 82, of Oriental died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at home.  
He is survived by his wife, Mary B. Paul; four sons, Rod Paul Jr. of 
Charlotte, Jeffrey Paul of Pamlico County, John Paul of Oriental and James 
Paul of Oriental; one daughter, Vicky P. Arnold of Oriental; six 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at the Pamlico Methodist 
Church with Rev. Joseph Parker, Rev. Roy L. Rogers and Rev. Betty Jo Rogers
officiating.  
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
