Obituary of Rodney Jerome Gaskins ~ 2010

ANGIER - Rodney Jerome Gaskins, 44, of 256 Massengill Pond Road, died 
Monday, May 24, 2010, at his residence.  
He was a 1984 graduate of Pamlico County High School and was employed by 
Southern Piping Company.  
His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Pilgrim Chapel M.B. 
Church, 1412 Silver-brook Road in Oriental, with the Rev. Andre Greene 
officiating. The burial will follow in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.  
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Gaskins of Angier; his father, 
Eugene Gaskins of New Bern; one son, Jaiban Dennis of Raleigh; two 
brothers, Eugene Gaskins Jr. of New Bern and Michael Gaskins of Bayboro; 
three sisters, Glenda Minor and Janice Sawyer, both of Hampton, Va., and 
Barbara Gaskins of New Bern.  
The family will receive friends at the residence of Michael and Bernell 
Gaskins, 937 Chinchilla Drive, Bayboro.  
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Oscar's Mortuary.  
Arrangements are by Oscar's Mortuary Inc.
