Ronald “Ron” Joseph Gallagher, 71, of Oriental, NC died July 21 at 
CarolinaEast Medical Center. 
He is survived by his wife, Jerry Gallagher; two sons, Ronald J. Gallagher 
and Jesse Gallagher; three daughters, Sherry Brunot, Susan M. Sites and 
Wendy B. Gallagher; two brothers, Charles E. Gallagher and John W. 
Gallagher; one sister, Mary Robinson; 11 grandchildren; and 6 
great-grandchildren. 
A funeral service was held July 24 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the 
Rev. Penny Dollar Farmer officiating. 
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to 
The American Heart Association.
