Obituary of Sallie Stroud Hardy ~ 1985

ORIENTAL- Sallie Stroud Hardy, 91, died Friday, September 13.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 16 at the Oriental United 
Methodist Church with the Rev Gray Southern officiating. 
Burial was in Oriental Cemetery.
She is survived by four sons, Walter D Hardy Sr of Oriental, William P 
Hardy of Fayetteville, Joshua A Hardy of Virginia Beach, Va and James R 
Hardy of New Bern; her daughter, Mary Ellen Hinzman of Oriental; two half 
sisters Mrs Roy Harper of South Mills and Mrs Jamie Moody of Deep Run; 16
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pamlico County
Rescue Squad or the Oriental United Methodist Church Building Fund.
Funeral arrangements were by Norris Funeral Home.
